Touched by the commitment and support that this non-profit brings to the bonobos living in the Congo, we wanted to provide our support by making a donation throughout the year with every pair of shoes purchased.The money collected goes directly to the variety of local projects implemented by Friends of Bonobos to improve the living conditions of this endangered species.

Like everyone else, we have been heavily impacted by COVID. Fortunately, the whole team was able to be responsive and pivot at a moment's notice.
The Hevea tree is grown naturally in South America. It offers milk (harvested much like sap from a Maple tree), which can be used to form all-natural soles used in shoe production. Flexible, durable, and extra comfy, the LACTAE HEVEA® sole is now available in SAOLA Shoes.
We are always looking for innovative materials to offer the most sustainable and eco-friendly products. When we heard about banana fibers to create the upper of our shoes, we were super curious about it!
